Advatek Announces Integration with Pharos & ETC Mosaic Designer

Advatek is pleased to announce a new level of integration between the PixLite® Mk3 platform and Pharos Designer & ETC Mosaic Designer, expanding the ecosystem of professional tools available to lighting designers, system integrators, and consultants. Pharos and ETC Mosaic Designer is widely used across architectural, themed, and immersive installations, offering powerful live control using Art-Net or sACN, advanced content creation, automation and scheduling, and seamless integration with external systems. This collaboration will bring PixLite® Mk3 directly into that workflow.

Native Support for PixLite® Mk3 in Pharos & ETC Mosaic Designer

Central to this integration is the native support for discovering and managing PixLite® Mk3 controllers inside Pharos & ETC Mosaic Designer. Using ADAR (Advatek Discovery and Recovery), our proprietary device detection protocol, Designer can identify Mk3 devices on the network and add them directly to a project. From there, integrators can configure key device settings, including network parameters, data sources, pixel types, colour options, and more, entirely within Designer’s familiar interface. Pixel-port and Aux-port configuration is also fully supported, enabling detailed control of pixel count, universe mapping, null pixels, colour order, grouping, resolution, hold-last-frame behaviour, and additional performance options.

Consistent Workflow Across All Mk3 Controllers

Because all PixLite® Mk3 controllers share the same firmware, configuration workflow, and processing engine, integrators can expect consistent behaviour across A-Series, E-Series, T-Series (with R-Series receivers), or mixed-system architectures. This uniformity is especially valuable in Pharos & ETC-driven environments where predictable behaviour and reliable operation are essential. The released integration further complements existing functionality already available to Pharos & ETC users. Designer’s Advatek I/O Module allows systems to monitor real-time fuse status and per-output current levels from PixLite® Mk3 A-Series devices, providing powerful diagnostic insight across complex installations. Together, these features extend system visibility and help ensure stable, predictable performance in demanding applications.
